About Me

I've had a pretty exciting life so far. The kind of 'exciting' that's full of rare opportunities and great relationships. My newest exciting adventure is Tommy, my newborn son. I'm proud to say that motherhood suites me and I've never wanted to write about anything more than I want to write about this particular experience.

I define myself as mommy first, signot; second, and an Addisonian third. I've had Addison's Disease for eight years. I struggled with this disease until I went gluten free a little over a year ago. Being gluten free is a bitter-sweet chapter in my life. Yes, I miss the bagels and the chocolate cake but I truly believe that I conceived because I eliminated wheat and gluten from my diet. You can read more about my gluten free life at Gluten Bites.

I asked my signot, Mark, to make this blog for me. He's my biggest supporter and number one fan. He has spent the past week making this creative outlet appealing for me to use and others to visit. I'm so lucky to have him.

I'm hoping to turn this blog in to my new best friend. This is going to be my no-holds-barred, honest-to God-truth about being a Mommy. This blog will be where I turn to at 3am when I've tried everything and nothing works. It will be where I go to share my most embarrassing moments. This is where I jump up and down when Tommy hits that milestone.

One thing is for sure, life is about to get a lot more exciting and I hope you'll join me for the ride.
